	South Reading Vixens Girls Football in South Reading
	Young Vixens Battle at Barton Rovers Barton Rovers Girls U8’s 1 – 2 South Reading Vixens U8’s 27th June 2004 The girls built on their recent tournament display with a well-earned victory away at Barton. They dominated possession for most of the game and found the net midway through the half with a great strike from Courtney S - her first for the team. Despite falling asleep for the equaliser in the opening minute of the restart, the young Vixens battled on to carve out a winner courtesy of top-scorer Chelsea. Overall, it was another encouraging display which provided a few coaching pointers for the start of the season. Most players have now found their natural position with potentially just a couple of places up for grabs.
