South Reading Vixens

Under 7's girls Jenna, Charlie and Kelsey were joined by Keana and Georgia from the Under 9's, with on-loan guests Hannah and Beth sportingly making up the numbers at short notice. The girls got off to a slow start as they got to know each other, but steadily improved with each game. Keana and Georgia excelled as they enjoyed the luxury of playing at their own age group, whilst Jenna, Charlie and Kelsey made several tackles on boys much bigger than themselves. Hannah and Beth brought additional strength and experience to the team, and performed confidently despite never having played for the Vixens before.

Medals were awarded to all the teams at the end of the tournament, with the Vixens getting the biggest cheer of the day from the large crowd of spectators.
