South Reading Vixens

The Vixens went into the game with high hopes, but just could not get their game together. The shape just wasn’t there today as most of the team had a collective off-day. Despite this, the match remained goalless at half time.

Westwood stepped up a gear in the second half, and with the South Reading defence disappearing at the crucial moments they hit three without reply to round off a disappointing morning for the Vixens. The one bright spot was an excellent performance from debut girl Laura, who was deservedly awarded player of the match. Hopefully the rest of the team will raise their game to the same level next week.

So, lots of work for the coaches at training this week, but we will be back and ready to go again next Saturday.
