The first two goals reflected Vixens’ collective passing skill, the second volleyed into the net by Jade from Hannah’s quality cross. Then Siobhan scored the cheekiest goal of the match! Stealing Slough goalkeeper’s short goal kick, she took the ball to the line and shot under the keeper at the near post. Stacey’s determination paid off nine minutes later: although her first shot was saved, the keeper fumbled the ball – and Stacey made her second chance pay off. The fifth goal was another well struck volley from Amber. Slough started the second half with more energy, and Vixens weak defending allowed their attacker a clear shot on goal to lob way over keeper Stacey’s head. Deanna must have felt sore about conceding a goal, because she paid them back with a solo run and scored eight minutes later. Confident passing, especially between Amber and Alice, created two more goals, as did a long shot across the goal from Sarah. Deanna, now playing up front, capitalised on her winning streak and finished the game with a hat-trick – well done! The Vixens player of the match was Deanna, who was outstanding throughout. Scorers: Deanna (3), Alice (2), Amber (2), Jade, Siobhan, Sarah, Stacey
